Favorite School Memory	I loved playing clarinet in the Big Blue . I especially loved the football games, street parades, winning 1st place at the State Fair and playing for the Buffalo Bills when O.J. Simpson played for the BIlls and Joe Namath played for the New York Jets. The Bills won that histoic game. We had a fantastic half time show featuring "Steam Heat " and "MacCarther Park". David Warren was the awesome solo trumpeter that year. Linda Rittenhouse and Philip Rittenhouse were wonderful drum majors, always encouraging and sweet. Jim Ellithorpe was the best percussionist ever. Vivian Calkins was the all round best musician and a great friend. (We still write to each other)One funny memory I have is when I had a small and I mean small solo on my clarinet. About Me	I have been married to Mike Silva for 29 years. Our son Mike is 21 and finishing up a degree in film with an emphasis on digital animation and our son Mark is 16 who is a computer genius and sound/lighting engineer. I enjoyed directing and owning a freelance woodwind ensemble that performed at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. I have travelled to 13 countries in Europe. My family and I have lived in Belgium for several years, living in a French speaking community where I spoke French, very ill indeed. It...(read more)
