About Me	After getting my PhD in 1978, I taught and did research at the University of Southern California's Andrus Gerontology Center for about 10 years. Moved to the Washington, DC suburbs in 1988 and worked for the Washington Business Group on Health, a Fortune 500 membership organization, on health policy until mid-2000. I finished my career as Deputy Director of the National Health Policy Forum based at George Washington University.
