Let's see... raised three successful happy daughters, stayed married 34 years, was a social worker, community organizer, founded several large nonprofits, lived in a mountain paradise 30 years, had a stroke, recovered, got really happy, wrote a book, became a landscape designer, spoke at national conferences, designed a community college course that won a national aging award, manage a 17 acre property myself, learned conflict resolution, survived lots of trauma, learned that hard times are the best learning of all, figured out that life is just school, learned that NC is a hell-a-of-a-lot easier to live in that SC, cared for my dying mother, learned to enjoy writing poetry, became a jail chaplain and teach job skills to men in prison, am healthier...(read more)
