About Me	Upekka: I am the guardian of my Karma. My happiness and unhappiness arise out of mu own thoughts and actions, not from outside events. Born in Mt.Vernon, NY, Joan Oppenheimer, raised in Old Greenwich, CT till I was 19, then married and moved to Santa Fe, NM. I love my three kids and two dogs. Spent some time in Lander, WY, 8 years in SoCal and then back to Santa Fe. Am happily retired from work in non-profits, rehabs, state government (Health). I am presently a student due to graduate in May 2014 from the Santa Fe Community College. Son, Mark is married and lives in Phoenix, AZ and Robin is engaged and living in Austin,TX. Heather recently moved back to Santa Fe, from 22 years in Denver, CO, which makes me terrifically happy.
