About Me	Married for 32 years. Have 2 sons. (30 & 27) When they were young I was a stay-at-home mom and volunteered at their preschool and became the co-chairman of the board and was in charge of all the hiring, firing of the staff and helping create the standards and by laws of the pre-school. As the boys got older I went back to school myself and then worked as a dental assistant, medical receptionist, travel agent and finally architectural designer. In 2005 I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. It was benign, but because of it location still required a full crainiotomy. Prior to surgery, I was told by the surgeon that because of the location of the tumor I may come out of the surgery with severe short term memory loss. (Much like Drew Berrymore's character in '50 First Dates') I did have some memory issues, but nothing like we feared.....Just a few hiccups here and there. The bigger issue was I woke up paralyzed on my left side. I spent the next year and a half in physical therapy working every day to regain control of my left side. Thankfully, today I'd have to say I've pretty much recovered from that ordeal.------- Unfortunately, I did end up having to file for disability, so I am no longer working. :( and I have now developed yet another health issue.
