Favorite School Memory	Well pretty much kept to myself, I tried but wasn’t able to make many friends back then. I remember having choir practice and I recall a sock hop dance and how cute some of the boys were in my class and how some kids just had such an easy time socializing in groups! About Me	I didn’t go to graduation so instead my family and I went to Bc’s expo 86 for a couple weeks, which was awesome, visited family, once back home a few months later I got a job at Holiday Inn south as a banquet server, a year later I resigned as I got accepted to South Wpg tech centre in Automated office Procedures which led to a work experience/ hired at the Manitoba government; moved out on my own, was not hired further when job was posted as someone with 13 yrs had senior status so had to find other work, I lost a baby while pregnant which was very difficult on me; months later got a job at a wholesale manufacturing which sold goods to big business like the Hutterites, Birts saddlery, tshirt companies and other. I liked it there, made friends, then after two yrs, company downsized and owner decided to take business a different direction and after 40 or so yrs, they sold company to Into the Music...so I was looking again, i realized early on that I didn’t have much luck with permanent work. Several months later I found a position as Clerk typist at the YMCA where people on social & income assistance and Ei could start there own business. Finally a permanent place to work! I loved it there! The office was always moving around People or dividing office with another group and changing and after three years two months they decided to let me go. So I had to look again. Since then I have had difficult and challenging time securing the right place. I have had interesting work with several businesses within the city and time has sure flown by. In 2006 I took a course (at CDI which was horribly managed and very negative environment and I was sorry I ever went) in Dental Reception which I passed with diploma and honors. It was a proud moment for me but it didn’t last long as several more upsetting events occurred during the following the months. In 2013 I had to move from my apartment due to complete overhaul and renovation of the building. I went to live with a relative who was deteriorating with dementia and that was fun spending time with them and learning about them for 9 months before they passed away. Since then I have been casual /term contracts in clerical administration and I love the flexibility, and adaptability three it gives me. Also since graduation I met friends in 1988- 1990 and I came out of my shyness to do a lot of amazing things I never would have thought possible! Some I can’t mention but some l have seen a lot of concerts from Cory heart, Bryan Adams, Heart, Inxs, Paul McCartney, Jeff Healy. I have met and became friends with over a hundred friends in my lifetime.
