| About Me | I laugh at myself more often than I'd like to admit,but that only means I am always smiling! :) "We did not change as we grew older; we just became more clearly ourselves." ~ Lynne Hall ~ Mother of a married 48 y.o. and a basking in the joy of being a new Grandma to my precious grandson Rohan... Mom, I now know the joy you felt! <3. "Pack Leader" and "Food & Entertainment Provider" to Chase Mutley & Ryan Boward my two "Mommy Magnet" dachshunds. I prefer my dogs to most people...<3 This is NOT the life I ordered, Thank You! Parts are missing, and not as pictured in my dreams as a little girl........ Graciously trying to navigate through the wonderful experience of Menopause! God has not been kind to us girls... Menstruation, Childbirth, Menopause...NOT fair! I sure do miss the good ole days and if I knew all this crap would happen after 40, I would have had a hell of a much better time when I was younger. I retired from Xerox in 2005 after 22 years and now work for Pitney Bowes, hopefully being able to end my career with them when I am 65. Immensely enjoying being back i the Lehigh Valley with my family & long time friends and I am trying desperately to embrace the wonderful, "where the hell did the time go" decade of the 50's. Sheesh, I want a do-over!! I lived a good life until 2 people turned my life up-side down....but working hard at rebuilding and leaving the baggage in the past...... Integrity and truth run high on my list of "must haves." I honor commitments. I don't like incompetence. I have no patience for people who are rude. I hate being a little too far from my family & friends. Yes, my dog is the same color as my hair! LOL I love being a woman.... most of the time. You have not really lived a full life until you have loved and have been loved in return. I dislike the fact that people lack the ability to accept responsibility & accountability for their own actions. I am my OWN woman. Senior citizens are delightful and I could listen to their stories for hours. People who are "stuck" on themselves amuse me and are not worthy of my time they need to stroke their egos. I Miss the 60's & 70's !! I admit when I make mistakes and boy, I have made some DOOZIES! I miss my Mom everyday. Beauty comes from within your heart. I thought meeting my husband saved my life... Oh well just another Doozie!! I don't need my ego stroked! I think it's truly sad how jealousy & envy invoke hatred, insecurity and stupidity in people who need to get a life... or a job! Please don't talk on a cell phone while you are driving, shopping, eating, etc.... it is extremely unsafe, the epitome of rudeness and disregard for others around you! People who have no social skills annoy me. I don't wish for things I can't have. I am right where I am supposed to be, I guess?!. Animals provide unconditional love. No, it is NOT all about you, so do something productive and meaningful for others who are less fortunate! "If I only knew then what I know now..."
