| About Me | I work at a software company in Blacksburg, VA. I love it. I work with clients all over the world and get to travel. I have a Bishon & Poodle who are spoiled rotten. Yes them I dress them up but the residence's at the nursing home love for them to come and visit. Music is a big part of my life. I was raised on gospel and bluegrass yet I enjoy all types of music and play bass with a band. I've traveled from the West to Canada to San Jaun and the Caribbean islands of St. Maartin, Barbados, St. Thomas and Dominica. Chartered a 2 seater plane somewhere in W. Va and flew over 3 states before returning...and to think I'm not fond of heights. Loved the views! I've been an EMT(ambulance driver), drove a tractor & trailer and even a roll back. If it has wheels I like to go. I've ridden through Maggie's Valley on horse back and on a Harley up to DC to during Rolling Thunder. Have you every heard 1/2 million bikes crank at one time...thus the Thunder. It touched my heart to see the service men and women who I had the honor of talking to during this eye opening event. I've sold insurance and sold real estate. Real estate being the hardest as I didn't want every insurance I saw. lol. I've moved 5, 6, 7 times....I think I've lost track now. Always coming back home to Floyd. A few years a go I went back to school for the second time. Having a love of arts and having worked in graphic design for over 17 years I decided a Graphic Communication degree is what I'd do.
