| About Me | Couple months after graduation I moved to New York, married a dairy farmer and worked the farm; was employed as a telephone operator for some years until company went dial; then worked hospital switchboard and then hospital admissions. Stopped work for a few years to have three fantastic sons. When boys were all in school full time went back to work in a nursing home in administration as the Admission Director for the next 22 years. Divorced after 38 years; retired from the job and remarried! Summer 6 mos. in New York home, my sons all live within 5 miles of me, and winter 6 mos. in Florida. I have 8 supper grandkids that I simply adore and enjoy and my boys are close to home. Was happily re- married for 17 yrs. when husband passed away. Decided to remain in NY full time and have since Jan. 2018. See my kids a lot, have wonderful friends, and travel back to Michigan more frequently now. I am very blessed with a won...(read more) |
