About Me	After surviving 7 years partying in Florida from 81-88, I moved to Boulder Colorado and became a full-time athlete running marathons, ultras, bicycle and ski racing, rock and ice climbing, mountaineering and even had time to work. Met a fabulous Australian, Michelle, in 1995 who has similar interests and married in 1997. We both went to nursing school and I rec'd an RN specializing in intensive care work. Michelle continued to study getting her MSN-Nurse Practitioner and then her Nursing Doctorate. We then worked for a few years and decided to adopt a child. In July 2004 Julia came into our lives. We traveled to Kunming in the Yunan provence of China and brought her to the US for a short stay. We then moved to Tasmania, Australia in Oct. of 2004 to get away from the repressive Bush administration and raise Julia in a gun-free and peaceful environment. After 4 years in Tasmania we are ecstatic to have been able to move here and are thriving. Michelle is a tenured professor of nursing at the University of Tasmania and I am working half-time as a resuscitation specialist in the local ER. Our lives are rich and full and we spend a great deal of it outside camping, horse riding, cycling and traveling on this side of the world.
