About Me	Since high school, I graduated from Doane College with a B.A. in elementary education and a minor in history. I taught briefly in Santa Fe in the Language Experience program, in Colorado in the Bilingual program, and with other programs for disadvantaged children. While raising my children, I had a preschool/daycare program in my home, and learned to make pottery on the wheel by taking classes at Aims College and at the University of Northern Colorado. This became my vocation for over 20 years. I also owned art galleries, and when gambling came to Cripple Creek, tried a casino, hotel, etc., for 5 years. At that time I was involved in many community activities as well, such as historic preservation. Gordon and I have been happily married for 17 years, and we live on a ranch high in the Colorado mountains. This summer we grazed llamas, had lots of visitors to the Ranch, and hiked one 14'er. We are dabbling in rental properties. We have two children who live overseas, so we get to travel alot! This year we attached a visit to Rome when we travelled to see our family in Germany!
