| About Me | I have one son, Ryan, a step-son, Lafe, a step-daughter, Jessica, and five grandchildren. Professionally, after twenty years as a medical transcriptionist, I then assisted my husband in creating a new business, playing a major role in this venture for many years before my husband's death. A widow after twenty-eight years of marriage, I retired at the end of 2011 which has provided me the time to pursue my writing projects. I have written four mystery novels, one of which is published and earned two national awards. Over the past few years, I co-wrote a screenplay, BITTERSWEET SERENITY, with a movie producer, Paul Lawrence, adapted and written from my third novel. VINDICATION, another screenplay that I've written has recently won first place in a logline competition put together by Mitch Moldofsky. I also have a non-fiction story, "Lady" that has been accepted for inclusion in the newest series of Chicken Soup For The Soul - Mysterious Messages From Heaven, which comes out in October of 2013. I understand that movie rights have also been sold for this book. DEAD AND DONE is another screenplay I've recently finished and will be offering to sell the film rights. Over the years, a paternal cousin has conducted extensive geneology studies of our family tree, Jensen, tracing our bloodline back to the year 1000 and the Vikings, further establishing that we are indeed direct descendants from one of four original families who were the very first known settlers, farmers, and ordained Kings of Norway.
