About Me	Served 22+ years in USAF (drafted after graduating from Illinois Wesleyan University in 1970). Have been stationed at Moody AFB, GA (1971-72) Mather AFB (twice - Navigator Student in 1972-73 and as Instructor Navigator in 1978-82), CA; Castle AFB, CA (1973) Ellsworth AFB, SD (1974-78); Los Angeles AFS, CA (1982-85); Minot AFB, ND (1985-89); Wright-Patterson AFB, OH (1989-93) where I retired effective 1 Oct 1993. While in service I flew the T-41, T-37, T-29; T-43; B-52G and B-52H ... was in Undergraduate Pilot Training (1971-72 flying T-41 & T-37); was in Undergraduate Navigator Training (1972-73 flying T-29C); was in B-52 Undergraduate Combat Crew Training (1973 flying B-52G as a Navigator crew member); was an operational B-52G/H Navigato/Radar Navigator (1973-78); was an Instructor Navigator flying T-43 & instructing B-52 NAV-Bomb students (1978-82); was a Training Acquisition Manger working NAVSTAR GPS program (1982-85); flew as a Instructor Radar Navigator on B-52H (1985-89); served as an Acquisition Officer for F-15/F-16 Programs (1989-93). Met my wife (Mary) in 1968 @ IWU; got married in 1968; had our first child in 1969 (Amy); our first son in 1973 (Matthew); and our last child in 1978 (Alec)....while moving around the country, Mary raised our 3 children...(read more)
