| About Me | After working at Ingles in high school, I went to work for CP&L in 1978 and worked for the power company my entire adult life. I was a lineman for 28 years and loved every minute of it! I then applied for a Line Inspector position and stayed in that job until I retired on 4-1-23. CP&L became Progress Energy in 2000 after CP&L bought Florida Power Corporation and changed the name.
