| About Me | Well, let's see, I am an active father to my two daughters, I've worked with airplanes my whole adult life, and I listen to showtunes all day. I was born in Japan, grew up in New York, and lived in Kansas after finishing college. I work full-time as an aerospace engineer. I am also a part-time Air Force Reservist as a KC-135 instructor pilot. Previously, I worked as a pilot with a major airline and as a test pilot/captain on the Boeing 767. However, my most important role is being a father to my two growing daughters who are entering their teen years. I am divorced and have an amicable relationship with my ex-wife. I think I would like to meet someone special but not willing to compromise my duties as a father so I have put my dating life on the back burner for the last several years. Outside of work and family, I enjoy and study music immensely. I love practicing on the piano. I especially love musical theater. I love tinkering with digital photography with my expensive cameras. I also love traveling around the world and seeing other cultures and tasting different cuisines. I'm a good cook and make Japanese food at home all the time. I've been told I'm a great dancer and that I'm very good at conversation. I prefer one-on-one talks over mingling within a large party. I am a teetotaler (do not drink alcohol); I also do not smoke. I am also quite different from other guys-- I'm not a big sports fan, I don't do much outdoorsy stuff, but I do like intellectual activities like visiting museums and studying art, music, theater, literature and history. My political views are middle-of-the-road, but if you force me to choose a side, it would be a Democrat. There's a lot more to me than what I just described...so if you want more keywords to ponder over about me, here's several: Victor Hugo, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Course in Miracles, Computer Science, East Coast Swing, Make-A-Wish, Beech Bonanza, Nikon, Mitch Albom, Leonard Bern...(read more) |
