| About Me | "Moved to Sarasota my Senior year,because of dads work. to this day, I regret not being a Sr and graduating with my friends. Went into the Navy in 78, actually ran into Steve Savoia, who was a 76 grad,on wrestling team. I played soccer and baseball , for a traveling Navy team overseas for 3 yrs. upon discharge, went back to NY where I Played on a mens softball team on Long Island and was State champ 4 yrs in a row. Retired in 94 from the Union, (tinknocker), and relocated to Chesapeake Va in 2002. I have coached kids soccer, and baseball for almost 25 yrs, both in NY and Va. Been with my wife Debbie for 33 years, have 4 kids. #1 son, married, and a shipyard worker, #2 son, in his last year of Culinary arts school in Va, #3 son, jr in HS.. plays the viola in Orchestra 6 yrs now. Last is a girl , a soph in HS. She is the starting C mid on HS soccer team and #1 premier traveling team. Hopefully she is the one who is my meal ticket, or at least some scholarship. College is expensive ! Back in our day, we never had soccer in EGHS. I spent the better part of my life teaching kids the fundamentals of sports, and am proud to see many of my players, boys and girls now playing HS sports. I took up golf, and am a +12 handicap. I'm a bit older now, but much wiser, and constantly remind my kids...The 70's were the best years. Good clean fun, and some of the best music and sports to be proud of. No Twitter, no Sportscenter wanna be's. Being proud of your school and family, and having good manors was the key to to success..which I have instilled in my family..so far, so good Activities soccer coach, golf, Interests soccer, golf Favorite Music 70's music..any genre Favorite TV Taxi, Seinfeld,That 70's Show Favorite Movies Saturday Night Fever, Grease Favorite Books they still make books?
