| About Me | Radio Shack manager, Realtor Cable TV installer, salesman, postwire, troubleshooter, bands, got as far as opening for the Gatlin brothers, who came out early to tell the band how great a job we'd done getting the crowd up & moving, & my voice. I missed them since we did 2 versions of 3 songs, using the 50's or 60's version to start, then I came in with the Van Halen or Guns & Roses, finished with Some kinda wonderful & Closer to home by Grand Funk. So I needed several different sounds, we could plug in, but we couldn't change a knob. I was lugging my stereo 200 Watt per side with 2 12" Scorpion speakers & chose the wrong exit, there were only 2~. But it was a blast. Cancer came calling less than a year later, so it wasn't going to last.
