About Me	Howdy. From my last job's bio web site: Russell Kennedy was born in Murray and raised in Delta, Utah. He graduated from Delta High School, where he was a two-time state debate champion, Eagle Scout and Mayor of the Delta Youth City Council. He is the recipient of the First Ladies Citizenship and Drug Prevention Award. Russ holds a Bachelor's Degree from Southern Utah University in Political Science and History. While at SUU, Russ was twice elected a Senator from the College of Humanities and Social Sciences and President Pro Tempore of the student association senate and was a former elected Governor of the Utah Intercollegiate Assembly, representing all of Utah's institutions of higher education. At SUU, Russ is the only student to have been twice awarded the institution's Male Contributor of the Year award in 1996 and 1998. He is a proud member of the Sigma Chi International Fraternity and is the 2010 Utah/Nevada Province Balfour Award Recipient. He served as an Intern in the West Wing of the White House under President Bill Clinton in the 1990's. Russ is studying for the GRE and hopes to attend Graduate School for a Master's Degree in Public Policy. Russ is active in politics and volunteers in several organizations in the community.
