| About Me | I've worked primarily for 4 major companies. After the U of Iowa, I worked for Rockwell International (now Rockwell Collins) in Cedar Rapids from 1989 to 1995 and supported elecrical hardware design updates for the Boeing 737/757/767 EFIS system. Then I suffered through a downsizing created by a lack of Boeing orders. Through an alumni publication, I found a lead for my next job at Motorola in Arlington Heights, IL. I worked there for 7 years system testing VoIP and cable telephony products and received a couple promotions to a Lead Engineer. Again, I was able to travel on business and went to Washington, DC, Las Vegas, Hong Kong, and Suzhou, China. My focus now is in software and electronics reliability, especially accelerated life testing, and I mak...(read more) |
