About Me	Shortly after high school, I joined the USAF and served as a security policeman for four years. During that time, I found myself stationed here in the states and abroad, including Turkey and Saudi Arabia. Shortly after leaving the USAF, I moved to Michigan and married my wife, Adrienne. I graduated from SVSU in 1997 with a B.A. in history and art education, and began teaching high school art full time in 1998. That same year, our daughter Madeleine was also born. In 2003, I earned my M.A. in Humanities from CMU. Currently, I'm still teaching high school art full time, but I also teach as an adjunct staff member in the evenings for the art department at SVSU.
