About Me	I joined the Marines and left for boot camp at Parris Island on my birthday back in 1999. Upon graduating Recruit Training, I got married to my then girlfriend, Becky Shaver while on leave between boot camp and MOS Training on Dec 31, 1999. Since then I have traveled all over the world to austere environments and done tours in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. And at some point, someone started a rumor that I had been killed in Iraq... until I ran into Onie George and Brandon Nicholas late one night in Wal-Mart when I was home one leave. The look on both thier faces was PRICELESS, as if they had seen a ghost or something. My biggest goal in the Corps was to attain the rank of Gunnery Sergeant. I achieved that goal when I was selected for promotion last year and will be promoted this coming May. There aren't many 9 year Gunnys running around the Corps, so it is pretty cool. Becky and I have been blessed with two wonderful boys, CJ who is 4, and Tommy who was born on Jan 13, 2009. I have been stationed at Camp Lejeune since April of 2000, some might say that I have been unfortunate to not have seen other duty stations...
