| About Me | I am using my Irish Grandmother's maiden name in my Irish Folk Music endeavor to add authenticity and because there is already a Mike Woods in Wisconsin who plays Irish Music and is well established, and very good. I am grateful to have a warm home with a garage so I don't have to scrape the ice from windows in the winter any more. My life is blessed with joy and rich with friends. I play accustic guitar and sing Irish, folk, and liturgical music. My many children and grandchildren are amazing and full of life. I am a joiner and belong to everything, it seems. I am most creative at writers' retreats at the DeKoven Center, and enjoy working out at the gym when my shoulder doesn't bother me.
