I spent the summer after law school fulfilling my military obligation attending the US Army Air Defense Artillery Officer Basic Course, where I was the Distinguished Military Graduate. I then served as a law clerk for the Hon. Alvin B. Rubin on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana for two years.
