About Me	spent nine years in the Army, 7 years of that I was stationed in Germany. During my seven years in Germany I spent a year in Iraq for the invasion and first year of the Iraq war. I took advantage of being in europe as much as my time allowed an traveled. Since being home I lived in a city near Tulsa called Claremore Oklahoma, where I worked building motors for oil pumps. In 2007 we moved back to Kansas and settled here in Lincoln. I worked briefly for the prison in Ellsworth but decided quickly that was not for me. I built bridges, and then took over a motorgrader route for the Lincoln county Highway dept. until last August when I decided it was time for me to go back to school and get a degree. I have now completed two semesters of study at Barton County Community College working for a AS with a Pre Physical Therapy major. I am now working through the summer and after finishing up my Associates of Science degree this fall I will be persuing a BS in Biology at Ft. Hays State University and then it's on to either KU medical school in Wichita or University of Colorado medical school in Denver for my PhD in Physical Therapy. It's tough with five kids going back to school, and I know I still have a long road to travel, but being so close to completing my Associates of Science degree and still maintaining a 4.0 amidst the cha...(read more)
