| About Me | Rev. Joseph Holmin received his formal education in Columbia Heights, Minnesota, until graduation in 1987. He graduated from Concorde Career College of Memphis, Tennessee in 1995. Rev. Holmin is currently enrolled in classes at Penn Foster Career School, a Distance Learning Program, where he is preparing for a career as a Virtual Assistant. He currently holds a 4.0 GPA. Rev. Holmin married his wife, Rebecca, in 1995. He is also the father of a son, from a previous marriage. Rev. Holmin was called to the ministry in early adulthood, but answered the call and was ordained as a Minister of Christ, in December of 2001. Rev. Holmin founded Helping Hand Ministries, in Memphis, Tennessee and began his ministry in December, 2001. This ministry was designed to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others by visitation to hospitals, nursing homes, and correctional facilities, prayer requests, including an internet presence, and a medium to share prayer requests that many may join together and pray simultaneously. Rev. Holmin has carried out numerous marriage preparation courses, as well as officiated several wedding ceremonies, funeral's and other services as requested. Rev. Holmin took a ministry position with Spring Well of Hope Ministries formerly in Shelbyville, Kentucky in August of 2004 in the capacity of Associate Pastor, but opted to return to Memphis, Tennessee in February of 2005; where he continued his efforts with Helping Hand Ministries, and remained in that position until August of 2006 when he took on the dual duties and role of Pastor for Helping Hand Ministries, as well as Associate Pastor for Memphis Ministries For Christ, under Bishop and Pastor Arthur Klemme, in Memphis, Tennessee; until January of 2009. In February of 2009, Rev. Holmin, was appointed to the position of Bishop Ordinary-Elect within the Church of the Ancient Christian Faith (COTACF), also working in the capacity of Canon to the Bishop Prelate and also placed with the title of Episcopal Liaison, where he interacts with other ministers, ministries, churches, and organizations, seeking to have fellowship, ongoing communication and opportunity for education and enrichment in the faith, and was ultimately consecrated in Apostolic Succession, in April of 2009, and continues to be an active member and leader, and is in good standing with the Bishop Prelate; ++Archbishop Timothy Buss. Rev. Holmin currently oversee's the COTACF's, Diocese of Memphis, and pastor's the Church of the Ancient Christian Faith - Memphis, and it's various mobile ministry efforts.
