About Me	David and me....... fighing EVIL together. On September 12,2008 my then 16 year old son David was diagnosed with a form of bone marrow cancer...MDS (myelodysplastic syndrome) with Trisomy 8 chromosome damage.. He needed a life threatening bone marrow transplant. No donor match was found and his doctors decided to use me even though I was only a half match. I went for my yearly mammogram and on November 14th, 2008 I found out that I had breast cancer. I could no longer be David's donor and had to have surgery and begin treatment right away. By the grace of God a 9 out of 10 match was found for David in December. I named his cells EARL the night of the transplant (2-20-09) but a year later we were put in contact with David's HERO. His name is Ben Walker of Tampa. I am cancer free as David continues to fight EVIL.
