About Me	Graduated from East Chilliwack Bible School, Grade Thirteen and Teachers' Training at UBC Married in 1959 and taught in Vancouver and got my PHT ( Putting Husband Through) Moved to Cleveland, Ohio for two years and taught in a ghetto school ( 43 grade ones) A Adopted our daughter and fourteen months later had a son. Lived in Fresno, California for a year and audited courses at Seminary. Lived in Brussels, Belgium for eight months and learned French at Ecole d"Administration. Spent five years in Zaire ( now Democratique Republique du Congo) formerly Bwelgian Congo. Taught Congolese women how to read in Kituba, Taught the white children in Kajiji which was a mission station in "the bush". Kajjiji was 30 km. from the Angolan border and the Angolan army in Exile was on our side of the border. I also did all the smallpox vaccinations for the hospital. Moved to Dartmouth, Nova Sxotia in 1072 and taught Grade 6 at Brookhouse Elementary. MOved too Abbotsford where my husband had a medical practice for 22 years. Moved to Winfield in 2000 where I do volunteer work at two schools--one in Winfield and the other in Kelowna. I also keep h...(read more)
