| Favorite School Memory | I have many but I think the day Marcia W. and I took my 1950 daisy painted 1950 Dodge to McDonaldsfor lunch during school hours and came back and all were in the cafeteria as there had been a bomb scare called in.I knew that we had not called that in but it scared me to death. | About Me | I went directly to college in NC after I graduated. After 1 1/2 years of college I married and came to Virginia where the inlaws lived and had 3 children. I separated for a few years and then divorced and had to go to work ( because of a less than good attorney) which was at a Psychiatric Hospital .After some hardship I left for awhile and was a cook's helper in a well-known tea room , went back to the hospital and went onto the units as a direct care worker,went into the business office in 89 and was promoted in 97 to asst.director, in 99 promoted to Marketing and business development, outgrew the company after 20 years and joined the City Social Services w/Child Welfare and will hopefully remain there until retirement. Within this employment this history, I was a single Mom for 16 years and married my current husband in 1996 when my last child graduated from HS and left home to start a family himself. I've also enjoyed going to Europe when engaged to a Navy man many years ago. My current husband and I have traveled out West and have had lovely vacations with friends, in their beautiful motor home ,that lived in San Diego seeing the Hoover Dam, Las Vegas fun,seeing my parents' most enjoyable scenery, the Grande Canyon, viewing Niagra Falls once again as an adult, camped a lot (no tenting that was when I was a child) and have graduated to a lovely 5th wheel RV.
