About Me	Although I didn't attend Central, I did attend Washington Jr High--for only 1 year. It was a very memorable year for me. Because of my father's death, we moved back to California after school was out. I went to Wilson High school in Long Beach and it was very different--I probably had culture shock. After I graduated in 1957 I went to Long Beach City College to get a degree in Dental Assisting. I graduated and was married in Aug 1959. My husband Max was attending Brigham Young University and then the University of Utah receiving a BS in Chemical Engineering and PhD in material science. He accepted a job with Corning Glass Works (now Corning Inc.) and we moved to Corning, NY in 1966. We have 5 children, (a bunch of grandchildren and g grandchildren) and that is where they grew up.
