About Me	Joe Metje and I married in 1966 and have 2 sons, Brent born in 1969 and Travis was born in 1972. Each have 2 children. I worked as a telephone operator and then a draftswoman in the Engineering Dept. for SW Bell Telephone. Then was lucky to be able to be a homemaker and stay home and raise our 2 boys, Brent and Travis. I have always been happy to stay at home and keep busy with the outdoor activities of running a home. Keeping a house up is not quite as much fun, but I have done it as well. LOL We have been married 43 years now and have lived out in the country all but the first 5 of them and love the country life. We divide our time now between Cape Girardeau and Van Buren MO where we have a 2nd home. We jet boat on the Current River with friends at every opportunity now, which is pretty often. We are building a 1937 Chevy hot rod and go to car shows and swap meets pretty often since that project has been in the making.
