| About Me | When inspired by some great purpose "Dormant forces, faculties, and talents become alive, and you discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you ever dreamed yourself to be.” -- Patanjali Damn word limit... Time to update this AGAIN. I guess the best way to sum myself up is that I hate routines. I love to be spontaneous and "just go for it." Sometimes I'm scared as all hell by what it is I want to do and most of the time in fact do, but it makes me feel alive. People have lived for who knows how many thousands of years and I only get a very short percentage of that to live my life, so I don't like to waste it...or at least I like to think all of this but I have to work on it lol. I act mature for my age....for the most part :-P. Not that I'm no fun, but I've just moved on from that stage in my life. What do I want to do in life? Jesus, I want to do a lot of things. I used to think I had it all planned out and was sure about my future. Now, I just wanna follow my heart. I have gone through a lot in the past year that's changed me quite a bit. I would say that my one big this is I never wanna lose my "realness." To tell you the truth, I'm scared of money. I obviously want the nice life, but I don't wanna turn into a pretentious dick or snobby or anything like that. I just wanna be as chill as I am (especially with a couple of drinks lol) I have a lot of different kinds of friends, so sorry that I don't fit into one of the boxes society places us in. I don't discriminate against people, and I'm generally kind to just about everyone. I may know a lot of people, but I do have a very closed, confined group of trusted friends. I'm intellectual and sometimes overthink things. I'm athletic and like to play sports. I speak with conviction and do not easily lose arguments. At time's I'm a bit prideful, but only a healthy does of pride - otherwise you end up being an ass. I'm creative in many ways, though a bit lacking in the arts. I love eating meat (I'm Puerto Rican after all...mmm PERNIL!). I also have to put this out there, just because I don't speak that much spanish does not make me any less prideful of who I am, where I came from, my culture, family, and heritage. So to everyone that critizes me for not being "true" latino ask yourself this: Were you born in the your home country? If not, we're in the same boat. I just don't happen t...(read more) |
