About Me	What I have done since graduating from Liberty High school 1959 There isn't enough room. I graduated from EKU with a business degree but changed direction by taking an elementary teaching position in Meade County and discovered that this is what I love to do as my career. I taught 5th grade at Brandenburg Elementary for four years and then returned to EKU to get my certification to teach elementary school (58 hours). We lived in Richmond, KY then I started teaching it Fayette County and during this time returned to EKU and received my Rank I retiring in 1990. I had many wonderful students in both locations and met my first wife while at Brandenburg and we had two wonderful girls Kim now 42 and Amy 39; both living in Gainesville, Florida. I met Tishana while teaching at Johnson Elementary School in Lexington, KY. We have three wonderful children Trey 26, who is in the Coast Guard stationed at Yorktown, Virginia, Heather 22 soon to graduate from EKU with a degree in Design, and Jamin 21 who will graduate soon with a degree in Psychology and Art exploring a career in the FBI. Since retiring I substituted in the Casey County Schools until the last year or so which gave me the most precious opportunity, to be my children's teacher from Kindergarten through their senior years on many occasions in several schools in Casey County . I did four years teaching special education in the high school having to attend EKU to get certification in Special Education so I could teach. During those years Tishana and I were Academic coaches and our children were on our team. We got to travel to academic meets in central KY and to participate at State in Louisville. We all love to travel and build and remodel on our home which was my Grandparents and my father's home. Our job here will never be complete and that is exactly as we would have.
