About Me	I like to live in places that don't have street lights, so I can see the night sky. I love facebook because it has helped me reconnect with friends, former students, and loved ones who are scattered far and wide. I'd be satisfied if they would leave the format alone, but we all have to adjust to the changes. I've worked in higher education and secondary education, and I love the chance to make a difference in the life of a student. In early 2012, I've heard from a student who was once in my orientation group when I was a student orientation leader at Auburn; I've also heard from a student from my student-teaching days. I appreciate so much that they reached out to me! I've lived and worked, made friends and had successes from Ohio to Virginia to Alabama to Georgia. I moved home to Georgia when my parents became ill in the late 1990s. They're both gone now, so I have been exploring options that may take me somewhere else in the foreseeable future.
