| About Me | Attended Phoenix College, completed undergraduate and master's degrees at Arizona State University, completed Ph.D. in Political Science at the University of California, Santa Barbara, taught for 20 years at Utah State University where I was also a department chair and dean, was Vice President for Academic Affairs at the University of Nevada, Reno for five years, President of the University of Idaho for seven years, President of The College of Idaho for six years, and will begin in July as President of the Idaho Community Foundation. I married Jeanne Schanhaar in 1968 and we had two girls--J.J. and Suzanne. J.J. has three boys. Jeanne died in 2005 and I remarried in 2006--Leslee.
