| About Me | Returned to college late in life, received A.A. degree at age 50 and B.S. degree at 52. Graduate of Leadership Wyoming Program 2007. Served as editor of one college newspaper and news editor at another. Handled Public Relations for WWCC and taught public relations and mass media for 9 years; retired July, 2007. Wrote humor column for 2 Wyoming newspapers for many years; have written and directed plays, have written numerous feature stories, essays, song lyrics. Golfed at St. Andrews and Carnoustie in Scotland and Ballybunion in Ireland in 2008. Have traveled extensively to other countries. As a journalist in the mid-90s, I had experiences such as hot-air ballooning during the source of a summer and interviewing rock groups such as Steppenwolf, America, and Firefall. Have lived in Nevada in Ruth and Reno and in Wyoming in Green River, Kemmerer, Rock Springs, Star Valley, and now, Cheyenne. Married to current Wyoming Director of Department of Environmental Quality. Raised 4 fantastic children and am enjoying 7 incredible grandchildren. Currently serve on Wyoming Humanities Council, Wyoming Council for Women's Issues, Cheyenne Tr-Parish JustFaith Co-Facilitator 2008-2009 (focusing on poverty, racism, etc.). Diocese of Cheyenne Bishop's Guild President Elect. Bible Study leader at St. Mary's Cathedral. Previously served in various offices in Democratic Party in Rock Springs and Green River, including coordinating the Governor's re-election campaign in that county.
