About Me	Worked at Johns Manville for five years, then spent a four year stint in the Air Force. After discharge I moved to California, attended college, and started my profession as a software engineer. In 1970 I got married and in 1973 our son Gregg was born. My profession enabled my wife and I to live in England for a while and I also worked a considerable amount of time as a defense contractor for the NSA. I retired in 2000 and my wife and I backpack every year for at least a week in the High Sierra Nevada mountains. In addition we enjoy traveling and have traveled to Europe a number of times as well as New Zealand, South America, and Antarctica.
