About Me	Graduated from Radcliffe in 1934, then Katherine Gibbs in 1935, then went to work for Walter Baker and Company, a chocolate factory in Dorchester, as executive secretary for the vice president of sales. Moved to Kensington, MD in 1937 where daughter Jacqueline Gail and son Michael were born in 1938 and 1940, respectively. Helped found the Kensington Cooperative Nursery, one of the first such nursery schools in the United States. Returned to Dedham in 1947, became active in various charitable enterprises, and went to work for my brothers Lawrence and Bernie Herman at Herman, Inc. Worked there as a buyer for 25 years until retiring in 1977.
