About Me	interned for Congressman Alcee Hastings (FL-23), worked for Westinghouse Communities, City of Tamarac, Dell and Defense contractor Corey Shearer is a "Son of Broward" having lived here for 45 years and is a graduate of Blanche Ely High School. A "Senior of the Year '' graduate of Georgetown University with a degree in Government/International Relations, Mr. Shearer currently serves in the FDP Faith Coalition advocating in the areas of diversity and inclusion while engaging in voter outreach and education throughout the state of Florida. Corey Shearer has worked with US Geological Survey (USGS), US Fish & Wildlife, the Center for Immigration Policy & Refugee Assistance (CIPRA), FBI, DEA, El Paso Information Center (EPIC), and Capital Wireless Improvement Network (CAPWIN), among other governmental and intergovernmental agencies. Hon. Corey Shearer, currently Broward State Committeeman, once served as 2nd Vice Chair of the Broward Democratic Executive Committee and continues to help out with VAN data and phonebanks. He is currently coordinator of the Data Team for Democratic Black Caucus of Florida.
