About Me	I am happy to be retired. The freedom and power of choice is exhilarating! I was raised in a military family and loved every minute of it! I lived in two foreign countries and five states. The happiest days of my childhood were spent in "410" Chateauroux, France. I was free to spend all my free time playing outside with friends and exploring the countryside. Our favorite hangouts were, the" big tree", the "little woods" and the school playground. I also spent a lot of time at the base because my mother was the Service Club Director (she started in the old gym). I loved rollerskating, going to the PX and going to the movies! The traveling my family did during those years have left me thankful and grateful for every experience. It gave me the "travel bug". After HS I went to College of Marin in Kentfield, CA then to Colorado Woman's College in Denver, CO. My college years were wonderful! Following college I attended UCLA to complete my 5th Year and secure my California Lifetime Teaching Credential. I completed work for a Master's Degree from USIU (United States International University). I was recruited for the school district that I worked in for 40 years while @ CWC in Denver. My teaching career was a fulfilling and challenging endeavor and I headed to work every single day knowing I could make a difference and I absolutely, positively loved my job! I was happy and enjoyed every minute working with the children and getting to know so many great coworkers. My life has been a 10 out of 10!
