About Me	My maiden name was Janet Buck. I want to havecontact with friends from Beardstown, IL, Tallahassee, I am now living in Niceville, FL, near the beaches. I have been married to my 2nd husband for 10 years. I have spent much of my life teaching school...when in Tallahassee my last name was Hartung. I got my Bachelor's from Bradley in 1973, and I received my master's in early childhood education in 1990 from Florida State University. I spent 18 years teaching all grade levels, but primarily in the public preschool program for low income children. I enjoyed it so much I couldn't believe I got paid to do it.I am married to Jim Faris, we met and married in 2000. He is a wonderful husband and we have created so many treasured memories. I have a 33 year old son, Jake, a stepson Jimmy and his wife Moira and their daughter Madeline, stepdaughters Susie Faris, Stephanie Berry and her husband Neil and Jennifer Severns and her husband Seth and their grandchildren Hollis and Rhett. I am not working outside the home at this time and my husband is retired. I create greeting cards and sell them and use them myself. Jim is a writer.
