Jeremiah 29:11 Take time to look at the little things in life, and the God moments. They may be just what you need to brighten your day..or make it even better! Nelson Henderson once said, “The true meaning of life is to plant trees, under whose shade you do not expect to sit.‿ This defines my goal that I have as a future elementary teacher. I want plant the seeds of knowledge in my students, so that they can become lifelong learners that grow into Giant Sequoia trees of knowledge. I love this analogy because it is amazing how one little seed can become one of largest trees in the world. When applied to a student, this reasoning is exciting. I could be the teacher that plants the seed in the next Einstein, Mark Twain, or John Philip Sousa! I'm a good listener, and I like to help people with their problems. Those who know me, know I've had some of my own. I wouldn't be around here without two things that helped me. I probably would be working in a factory somewhere...or something else... First, God. He has provided me with the second thing. It is the support through my family and some of the wonderful people that I have met that have helped me. I truely have been blessed.
