| About Me | Lived and worked in Atlanta after nursing school, then Gainesville FL. Moved to Salt Lake in 1993 to ski and develop an outdoor life, met my terrific husband Skip Fikkan there. We moved to Cashmere WA in 1999 and love the small town life neither of us had experienced before (we both had fathers who had to move us every 2 or 3 years.) We live on a Cascades mountain-fed river, the Wenatchee, which is about 140 miles east of Seattle in orchard and wine country.
