About Me I got married in 1977 to Mike Moreland. We divorced. I worked at the old mill in Bastrop before they tore it down to pay all the accumilation of bills from being married. My cousins in Texas called & said come to Texas! And I said, Ok, I think I will. I moved to Texas in 1986, went back to school. I was 28 then. Had many different office jobs. Worked in the apartment office I lived in for years. I Had a chance to work contract for Rockwell, a very big govn't company & was hired. Went to work for Boeing in 1996 and have been there for 15 years. At this time I am an Industrial Security Specialist working in a Security Office for Boeing & the Department of Defense a Government company. I have taken much training through Boeing & have the same training as a Criminal Justice Degree. I have had many chances to remarry over the years but at this time I am single. Around 1999 I started having bad headaches & In 2001 it was discovered I had a brain tumor. I had brain surgery right away to have it removed. They shaved me ball headed of course. I was a very sick & weak person but I went back to work six weeks later. It was the hardest thing I have ever done in my whole life & I was by myself. I had friends & relatives that helped me out. I was taking all these anitseizure meds & etc trying to maintain my sanity. Thank God for the internet as I did not want to take all the medications the doctors were trying to put me on. I discovered natural cures & herbs which I decided to use instead of alll the drugs the docs try to put me on. It took me a while to get back to my old self. By the time I got back I was old. HA! I am find today. I feel good, I work hard and play hard & it is the best time of my life!!!!! If it were not for my belief in God, I would not have made it. I can say that for many situations in my life time. I am not a religous person but I do have a great love for the Lord. I own a mobile home. I was tired renting so I did the next best thing. Housing is too expensive w...(read more)
