About Me	Married in Robert W. Courson in 1962 & moved to Melbourne FL where we'd both found new jobs, him with Publx Supermarkets and me with Pan American W Airways, at Patrick AFB as a secretary. Six years later, I changed to Southern Bell in Melbourne as a Customer Svc Rep. My working-away-from-home days over, I changed my status to a full time mother with a daughter in 1973, Jennifer Sloan Courson. in 1980 we moved to Lakeland FL, at Publix request. Buddy retired with Publix in 1999 and we moved to St. James City FL, on Pine Island, near Cape Coral/Ft Myers. In late 2000 we moved into our home we'd built for retirement. We're on a canal and love to fish, so feel like I'm on a vacation, endlessly! Now we don't fish as much as in the past, but I sure love sitting on the porch to watch all the beautiful birds we have here and the manatees and dolphins coming through the canal. Life is good... My husband, Buddy passed away in May of 2019 with Liver Cancer, but I am still living here in our home we built. It's a large home for me, but I love the location and my daughter and son-in-law are about 15 minutes away, so I feel comfortable with a few helpers, to help maintain things like the house and yard etc, to...(read more)
