Favorite School Memory	Oh wow.....way too many! Probably goiing to Mizzou with Mrs. Kattleman and Alice and Sandra for an FHA meeting my sophomore year. It was a fun trip and I met lots of new friends. We stayed in dorm rooms and were there for a few days.
About Me	I went to college at SMS, majoring in Art, lived in a dorm and did the whole college experience. After a year, I dropped out of college to marry a wonderful man (we've been married almost 30 years now!) and become a mom to his little boy. We moved back home (Udall), but after awhile, I decided to go back to college. I attended the SMS branch in West Plains and decided to go into education b/c that was the easiest degree to get in WP. Probably the best thing that ever happened to me! It changed my life! I graduated in 1985 and began teaching back at Bakersfield. In 1987, I had a baby and that changed my life again.....I decided that I wanted to become a full-time mom. I "retired" from teaching and did not go back as a full-time teacher for 13 years!!! I did a lot of substitute teaching during that time and learned as much or more about teaching than I had learned in college. Four years after my son was born, I had my daughter. When she was eight and my son was twelve, I went back to teaching full-time and did that for the next nine years, but then I decided to "retire" from teaching once again. My husband and I formed a real estate development company and I wanted to spend more time with that, plus there were other avenues that I had not yet explored and I just couldn't devote the time I wanted to these while teaching.
