He graduated from Asbury Park HS in Asbury Park, New Jersey in June of 1973. He joined the United States Navy in February of 1974 and was Honorably Discharged after a four year tour of duty which included the evacuation operations Eagle Pull and Frequent wind in Cambodia and Viet Nam aboard the aircraft Carrier USS Hancock CVA19 in April and May of 1975. After serving in the military he went back to school to study electronics. He received an Associates Degree in Science for Electronic Engineering Technology from Hamilton Technical College in Davenport Iowa in 1983 and moved to the Tampa Bay area of Florida where he has remained to the present time. He is married to Bevvie-Del Gloner and they have four children, three of whom are still at home. Max also has two children from a previous marriage. Currently Max is President of BMX-RAY, INC a Medical X-Ray service and sales company.
