About Me	Married for almost 35 years now and Rita and I raised 2 boys. I spent 7 years in the Army, and got out as a 1st Lieutenant. Spent several years going to college at night and on weekends studying Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering. Since I couldn't decide what I wanted to do when I grew up, I finished with a Management dergree. Spent about three years in chemical research with Thiokol, developing sollid propellant rocket motors. Spent 6 years with the Chrysler Corporation as a Qualtiy Engineer and Quality Control Supervisor. The next twenty-six years have been spent in a marvelous career with the Boeing Company. I got to live my dream of working in the Manned Space Flight industry. Rita and I left Alabama in the mid 90's and I worked at the Kennedy Space Center until after the Coulumbia incident in 2003. In May of that year, I was transferred to Houston, TX to lead the Safety and Mission Assurance Directorate for the International Space Station Program. At the end of 2005 I was brought back to Huntsville, AL to lead the Quality Assurance Directorate for a major National Missile Defense program, and wil most likely retire in 2008 with that program. During my early years with Boeing, I had the blessed opportnity to serve as a bi-vocational Minister of Youth and Music for several local Churches, and have had the opportunity to serve in the music ministry in Churches wherever we've lived.
