About Me	Writer. Social entrepreneur. No matter what I do, I hope to use it as a vehicle for transforming some section of our amazing world. General visionary and life force for a variety of organizations, entities, projects, causes, and individuals. I have a way of seeing a way of making things happen, making things better, etc. yet I am not gifted in actually making tangible things, unless you count the word content of books, articles and scripts. If there was a job of thinking up stuff and making things happen, it would be the one for me. As it is, except for being a writer, I'm 41 now, and I don't know what I want to be when I grow up. Mom to Dylon, '93, Caitlyn, '96, and Bryan '03 <br><br>Eldest son, Dylon, has high functioning autism and graduated from Spencer High School in 2011. He was an art student at the Curiel Reynolds School of Visual Arts studying ceramics and stained glass and glass blowing with Louis "Tony" Curiel, Simeon Lind, and Jon Curiel. Now he's at a crossroads, but whatever we find with him is going to be amazing.<br><br> Daughter, Caitlyn, is intellectually gifted and is a senior in high school. Or would be if she was not about to finish her credits and spend the year preparing to embark on the world. Her journey will be extraordinary! She is the consummate bookworm - yay - a fine athlete and better student and better friend to her friends than I ever was. Having said that, she plans to finish her high school credits and travel to do service projects or internships in different areas of the country when she turns 18. I guess I did my job too well in turning her into a radical. She's so cool. I wish everyone had a Caitlyn at their house. She's my heart walking around outside me.<br><br> Youngest son, Bryan, is a barrel of laughs and is in the fifth grade. He's really, really his dad's little pal -- even as a toddler, he'd come into a room and say, "Hi, Mommy. Where's Daddy?" But we have some amazing discussions and great fun <br><br> I'm a playwright, journalist/essayist, blogger and apparently a visionary. For work, I collaborate on and edit books, write grant proposals and business plans, and other fabulous documents as needed. My short story, "Namesake" was named a winner in the Lorian Hemingway Short Story Competition in 2010. I am working on a short story collection and do one-on-one editing, coaching and jump starting for fiction and memoir writers. Yes, my play "The Feast of Jovi Bono" went to @Manhattan Rep in New York City, December, 2013. It was amazing. I hope to fund my next play and do it again in October.
