Met my future wife in Virginia Beach in 1960. Married in 1962 before attending NC State University in the Navy program. Son born September 1964. Graduated with Bachelor's and Master's degrees in 1966, and was commissioned October 1966. Went through nuclear power training and served on one diesel submarine and three nuclear submarines.
