About Me	I am so grateful to be alive today. For years I woke up by accident, today it is by choice. I got clean on 11/8/92 and have been learning how to celebrate life ever since. I am a daughter, mother,sister and friend. Celebrating 19 years clean!!!!! Thank you God, NA, and my wonderful friends. I have lost family members,best friends, relationships and jobs. I have been through surgery, my son going to prison at 15 and not coming out til he was 21. I have walked through sexual abuse issues as well as physical abuse issues. I have faced my character defects and fought to change huge thinking errors. I got married and divorced. re- connected with my family. My birth family found me and it has been a journey of healing. I have become a God mother to 2 precious children ( and I was the girl that people would take their children across the street to not walk near when I was out there getting loaded). My relationship with my son is a gift from God and he hated me. My mother whom I loved to hate is now my best friend. But most important of all is I have a GOD that I have surrendered completely to, I do not always remember that but it keeps getting quicker and I love being April.
